How did you react when you found out you would be taking part in this year’s show?
“I didn’t think I’d ever actually make it to the actual Bake Off tent. When I got the call I genuinely couldn’t believe it. I just kept saying ‘No way! You’re kidding?!'”
As a group, what are this year’s bakers like?
“The bakers this year are such an incredible bunch of people. From the moment we first met, everyone was so excited to be on this journey together and everyone was so warm, friendly and supportive.”
How was it having Nigella as part of the show?
“It was almost reassuring that it was Nigella’s first time in the tent too. It’s a daunting experience, but knowing it was new to her as well felt like we were experiencing things together.”
Describe your baking style in three words!
“Classic, aesthetically pleasing.”
