Picture Spoilers: Next week on Emmerdale (September 8-12)

Next week on Emmerdale, a tense showdown in the woods ends with John taking both Aaron and himself over a cliff edge.

Meanwhile, Robert’s questioned by police after being framed by John, Charity’s worried as she has an ultrasound and Vinny finally tells Kammy the truth about what happened with Mike.

Monday, September 8

As Aaron tries to escape from his husband again, Robert arrives at the cottage and accuses his brother of murder but John remains defiant. A physical confrontation ensues and Robert is left lying lifeless on the ground. John checks that Robert is still breathing and is relieved he’s still alive, but he’s soon distracted when he sees Aaron making an escape and tears after him.

Aaron desperately searches for a hatch in the woods which he’s certain is connected to Mack’s disappearance. Having no luck, he’s shocked to end up face to face with a bloodied John, who does his best to come up with a cover story but it’s clear that Aaron no longer believes a word he says.

Aaron pleads with John to lead him to Mack, but just as John is about to call the police to confess to his crimes, Robert appears and accuses Aaron of orchestrating their predicament. Things quickly escalate and John calls the police to frame Robert before jumping off the edge of a cliff with his arms around Aaron.

Victoria’s alarmed when Paddy tells her about his fears for John’s welfare and she asks him to help search for her brother.

Wednesday, September 10

A shell-shocked Robert looks over the cliff and sees John and Aaron lying motionless on the ground. He quickly dials 999, but when news of the incident reaches the village, Chas believes Robert is responsible and vows to make him pay.

Jacob surprises Sarah and Charity with an early ultrasound, but as Charity looks at the screen, she’s worried, knowing that the child may not be theirs. When Ross arrives with Moses, Sarah proudly shows him a photo of the scan, leaving him thrown that he could well be looking at his own child.

Thursday, September 11

Vinny eventually cracks and breaks down in tears when Kammy questions him on what’s been going on recently. He confesses what Mike did to him, leaving Kammy filled with rage at what Vinny has been through – but Vinny is adamant that they can’t report it to the police.

Robert fears for Aaron’s life and worries that he will be sent back to prison as he’s interviewed about the incident at the police station.

Also on Friday: Victoria’s left in tears after Cain tells her that they want nothing more to do with the Sugdens and Moira agrees with him.
