Why did you apply to be on the show?
“Just for the experience – it’s-a once in-a-lifetime thing to do. I told my mum that I wanted to do something exciting and she was the one who actually encouraged me to apply.”
What will you bring to the house?
“I think I’ve got two sides to me. I’ve obviously got the serious social worker side and I’m a really good listener. I’m a good friend. I’m good at problem solving and feel like I give good advice. I think I’ve been through a lot of experiences during my life and feel like I can speak to people. I’ve also got the other side where I love to talk a lot. I love to have a joke and mess about.”
Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
“No, because I didn’t even think I was going to be successful in my application. I’ve not thought about a strategy for the final. I’m just feeling very lucky that I’ve even made it onto the show, so I just want to enjoy it and have a good time.”
Why might someone nominate you?
“I feel like maybe when someone annoys me I can be quite abrupt. I just say how it is.”
What would you do with the prize money?
“I’ve been saying I’m going to pay for my mum to get a facelift… I’ve already done lots of travelling in the past, but I would like to do more – I’d like to go back to Asia, South America and lots of different places. So yes, I’d like to travel the world and have a good time.”
