Why did you apply to be on the show?
“I thought about it a few years back but ended up being too busy with work and couldn’t do anything with it. Then at the beginning of this year, I saw the adverts pop up online and thought ‘I’ve got nothing to lose – you only live once.’ The rest is history!”
What will you bring to the house?
“There will never be a dull moment when I’m there. I’ll always put a smile on everyone’s faces. If I see anyone unhappy, no matter what, I’ll be there for them – whether I like them or not. You’re better being a friend to me than an enemy. I’m a very good friend, but I’m a very bad enemy.”
Do you have a strategy for making it to the final?
“Day by day – I am who I am. No airs and graces. As I always say, you can’t put a mask on. You might be able to for a few hours, but you can’t put it on for eight weeks (and I’m going to go right to the end).”
Why might someone nominate you?
“For telling them straight. There’s no bull*****ng. I’m not afraid to call someone out – and I like an audience when I do it.”
What would you do with the prize money?
“I would sort a few close family members out. My mum in particular – I’d see my mum OK. She’s worked all her life. I’d also sort my family out. And I’d give some money to the charities I regularly work with. I would see them OK. And some very close friends. The rest, I would use to enjoy myself.”
