Lauren Steadman wins Celebrity MasterChef 2026

Paralympics star Lauren Steadman has been named the winner of this year’s Celebrity MasterChef.

The multiple Paralympic, World and European champion, who competes in the Paratriathlon and swimming, beat 14 other celebs over the course of five weeks to take the title.

For the final challenge Steadman went up against Olympic weightlifter Emily Campbell and former Love Island star Shakira Khan by cooking an ultimate three-course meal to impress judges Grace Dent and Giorgio Locatelli.

After she was named the winner and was presented with her trophy, Steadman said: “I cannot believe that I am stood here holding this. There’s not been many points in my life where I’ve been speechless, but this is definitely one of them.”

She continued: “I feel over the moon, and this is going to take pride of place at home amongst my medals. I’m very proud right now.”

Explaining the decision, Dent noted: “Throughout this competition, Lauren has cooked at an absolutely exquisite level. And today, quite simply, she served some really, really wonderful food.”

Locatelli added: “She’s just a girl with this great tenacity. She seems to turn everything to her advantage. And that, for me, is why she is our Celebrity MasterChef champion.”

MasterChef returns to BBC One later this Autumn with a new series of MasterChef: The Professionals.
