Johanne and Samuel have been granted immunity from being nominated this week on Big Brother.
As part of this week’s ‘Double Trouble’ theme, the housemates have been competing in pairs – as chosen by special guests Jedward – in a variety of challenges to earn points.
On Monday (Day 9), Big Brother announced the final leaderboard to the house:
1. Johanne and Samuel – 17 points
2. Chelsey and Frankie – 14 points
3. Charlotte and Philip – 12 points
4. Rochelle and Rob – 10 points
5=. Yasmin and Harry – 8 points
5=. Rhianna and Lynx – 8 points
7. Pauline and Omar – 6 points
As a reward for topping the leaderboard, both Johanne and Samuel are exempt from being nominated for this Friday’s second eviction but are still able to cast nominations themselves.
Later, BB summoned the housemates to gather at the sofa before reprimanding some of them for breaking a fundamental rule of the show.
“Before you entered the Big Brother house, the rules regarding the discussion of nominations were clearly explained to all of you,” he said. “To remind you all, it is against the rules for housemates to discuss nominations with each other. This includes predicting or guessing who may be nominated. The rules have been broken.”
BB then recounted a conversation between Rhianna, Omar, Chelsey and Frankie from day eight (Sunday):
Frankie: “Are you worried about being up for eviction?”
Chelsey: “Yeah, I am worried that I’m going to be nominated.”
Frankie: “And why does it matter though?”
Chelsey: “Dunno, but then I think there’s probably people here who will be nominated more than I will.”
Rhianna: “I think I’m going to be nominated.”
Frankie: “Nah, you don’t really do anything to be nominated.”
Frankie: “Well, P thinks I’m a gameplayer so…”
Rhianna: “No-one’s gonna wanna nominate Lynx.”
Omar: “What about me and Pauline?”
Frankie: “Nah, you’ll be sweet.”
BB went on to recall another conversation earlier in the day between Yasmin, Frankie and Pauline in the snug:
Frankie: “Now that Johanne isn’t up for eviction, I wonder who all of them lot are going to vote… I wonder if they’ll play it safe, or be real. I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see, won’t we?”
As a result, the housemates who took part in prohibited conversations were required to don cleaners’ uniforms and clean the house – a process made worse by Jedward, who decided to spill yoghurt on the floor and force the others to clean it up.
“I know you’ve never cleaned up in your life,” John told Rhianna, “but you’re now a cleaner so you’ve got to go clean that please.”
Angered by the 34-year-old twins’ actions, Rhianna, 21, responded: “You’re literally the age of a fucking grandpa.”
The nominations for this week’s eviction took place on Tuesday and the results will be revealed in tonight’s show.
