Big Brother: Week two nominations – the housemates’ reasons in full

The Big Brother housemates have all nominated for the first time, leading to Chelsey and Pauline facing the second eviction this Friday.

Johanne and Samuel were immune from being nominated this week after they won the Double Trouble task, although they were still able to nominate.

Read on to discover each housemate’s nominations and the reasons for them.

Samuel

Rhianna: “She’s mostly hangs around in the same group. And whenever she decides to talk to me, most conversations really seem to be rather short. And if any of her friends like Omar, Lynx or Chelsea come into the room, our conversation just ends like that most of the time. And a lot of drama does seem to revolve around her, or she’s always some way involved. And I think for my levity and a lot of other people’s levity in this house, someone like her will most likely need to go sooner rather than later.”

Chelsea: “I do feel like as if her and Lynx are really been budding up, her and Omar, her and Rihanna. They seem to be like a big clique and they feel like a lot of time they seem to be like whispering to each other. It does give off slight gossipy energy which I don’t really subscribe to the notion of.”

Harry

Chelsea: “It’s a bit quite intense the way she is with Lynx already… she’s cutting herself off quite a lot. And then when she’s in the room, I don’t really want to talk so much when she’s there. I feel a little bit judged. Just for example, if I was on my own and I was doing some dance, just having a laugh, whatever else, and I could see in the corner of my eye that she’s laughing, chatting to someone, looking, laughing. It’s not to say she’s laughing at someone, but that’s how it can look. Have you ever seen that film Mean Girls when they’re just a little bit like that? She thinks very highly of herself and you can’t take the piss out of her. And if you did, it’ll be World War Three.”

Lynx: “I think Lynx is trying to take control of the shopping list and this because yesterday he said he’s gonna make some mad changes next week. He said, ‘I’m gonna put my foot down and we’re gonna have the cola below the sweets’ and it’s like, you don’t have the deeds to this house. This house is for everyone. Just because you cook for other people, you’re not the leader of this dashboard. And if I want to have my cola and I want to put it at the top, because it’s important to me, I’ll put it at the top. So it makes me feel like my opinion doesn’t matter, that’s what I’m trying to say. Whereas if it was someone else or Chelsey, and she wanted a different soft drink, it’ll be at the top, 100%.”

Chelsey

Pauline: “I think sometimes she can be quite abrupt, she’ll be quite blunt, or just be off with me. I don’t know if it’s because she’s friends with Johanne and Johanne really, really doesn’t like me. There’s been so many times I’ve tried to speak to her, but she maybe gives one-word answers or she doesn’t respond. It just makes me feel uncomfortable around her, as if she doesn’t really like me.”

Rochelle: “The second person I’m going to nominate is probably Rochelle. I feel like she just makes it clear that she doesn’t like being here. She often says that she feels like she’s in prison. She just moans a lot about everything, and sometimes the vibes can be a little bit negative. And she made a comment towards Charlotte saying that she was scared of people that didn’t have any limbs. And I feel like I’m quite close to Charlotte, so that made me feel upset for Charlotte, and it was just an inappropriate comment to make.”

Lynx

Harry: “I think at times just the energy is a bit too much. It’s just a bit difficult living with some of his eating habits [which] could be a bit selfish. Example with the cola. I think he was drinking four a day. It’s quite selfish, you know, if you’re living in a full house with so many people.”

Rob: “Really quite sick of the singing at points, for real. It’s just grating me. It’s too much. Slow down. Not everything needs to be a sing-song. Just shut up.”

Charlotte

Rochelle: “Based on the inappropriate comments that she’s repeatedly made about multiple people in the house. She told me she has a phobia of people without limbs. She then made some comments to Millie about her diet. She has defended those comments and not really apologised for any of them.”

Pauline: “When I’ve been around her in the bedroom, when her and Joanna are together, and they’re talking about other people in the house, she is always making little sly comments. It can just be a bit awkward sometimes because I don’t want to hear that and then run to the person that is about and cause drama. So it can become a bit just uncomfortable for me.”

Omar

Rob: “To be honest, like the songs, man, it just follows me everywhere, bruv. It’s like I could be having the worst day on earth and then he just trots around singing about selling his feet and that, bro. He’s a quirky brother, it’s just not my cup of tea though. ‘I sell my feet on the internet’, come on bro. That’s levels of mind games and psychological warfare. It’s just jarring, fam.”

Pauline: “When Jedward – glitter trousers – started throwing things on the floor, at the very least, [she] could have just said ‘you were talking kind of mad to the girls’. She didn’t have to be all ‘hee-hee, har-har’, chilling with them. It was so weird because she’s a stand-up girl. Usually will stand up for what’s right, but you’ve to to stick up for your housemates?”

Pauline

Rhianna: “For the week of Double Trouble, Omar is my partner. And a lot of the times when we’re supposed to sit in pairs, I always see they’re together. It’s a bit irritating… ‘oh my gosh, can I just get a minute with my partner?’ And also on top of that, I feel like she doesn’t pull her weight when it comes to being domesticated. Everyone should pull their weight and you have to get stuck in and I’ve just not seen that from her. It’s irritating to say the least.”

Chelsey: “In that same vein, when it comes to being domesticated, I don’t even think I’ve seen her wash a single dish. It’s an energy of ‘ugh, me? Do that?’ I feel like a lot of the time she sits back and doesn’t really want to get involved. Like we had the Jedward party, she was sitting down… the energy that she gives is quite standoffish.”

Frankie

Rhianna: “Rhianna basically hinted that I couldn’t talk to Johanne and at the end of the day I’m not getting told who I can and can’t speak to. I’m not in primary school, we’re not in year six, and I’m not having someone stop me talking to other people.”

Pauline: “She said a comment in the gameshow [task] about me being a gameplayer, which for somebody that talks about being direct and being honest I think she really fluffed around it. I feel like she wasn’t honest enough. And right at the beginning of my journey, Pauline was the one who was there for me. She knew what was sort of going on. I didn’t disclose loads of information but she knew what was going on. So to hear it from her specifically hurt me quite a bit. And it kind of showed me that I feel like she was just trying to be nice and just trying to be there [for me] for cameras really and for her own sake. And I feel like she’s the gameplayer.”

Rochelle

Pauline: “Pauline is desperate to win and she’s playing a game. I think Pauline is quite dangerous. She’s very calculated, she knows exactly what she’s doing. She’s just in this to win this and and she doesn’t care who she takes down in the process.”

Omar: “He thinks that he’s really clever, and I just find it really wearing. He talks about life like he’s 50 years old and he’s experienced so much and he’s so knowledgeable… and he isn’t. He doesn’t have a clue.”

Rob

Chelsey: “I didn’t really like the whole situation that happened with Jedward. She seemed very gossipy in that moment, and she could have acted as a sort of intermediary to get a conversation going, and I feel like she chose to perhaps escalate things in a certain way. She could have poured oil on troubled water, rather than lighting the match and letting the oil burn brighter.”

Lynx: “Again, the whole situation that happened with the hot tub and stuff, I think that Lynx came into the garden with a lot of energy, and I don’t think that that was necessarily needed. I think that it should have been a conversation, rather than a confrontation, which was what it ended up becoming.”

Philip

Pauline: “I think she’s playing the game. She’s flip=slopping/. She wants to be top dog.I think, fully wants her own army

Yasmin: “Yasmin’s a bit of a… we call it in Liverpol a jangler. Jangler means someone who repeats things to people. What they’ve said in confidence, repeats things. So, things that are going to cause a bit of trouble.”

Yasmin

Rochelle: “I think Rochelle doesn’t really want to be here. Every single morning she wakes up and there’s always an issue and it really dampens my mood. Yesterday morning, she woke up, she went straight into the bathroom and all I could hear was wailing something about her shoes. We should all pull together and try and have a good day.”

Rob: “I just don’t believe anyone can be that happy and the song that he sings over and over and over again, it just drives me absolutely insane.”

Rhianna

Rob: “I think he cops out in his answers. I think he kind of shies away and gets a bit scared. Even when there was like that Jedward argument between me and them, and he was just sat in the hot tub, you could tell he didn’t even want to say something which he easily could have. And yeah, it just made me feel like he didn’t have my back in that situation.”

Harry: “He is one of the messiest housemates. He’ll make food, not finish it, put it in the fridge, not covered, nothing, and it just makes a whole fridge stink. There’s always dirty underwear left around. It’s disgusting. Put it away. I don’t want to see… I don’t even want to touch it.”

Johanne

Chelsey: “I believe that there’s a group. It consists of Lynx, Omar, Chelsey and Rhianna, and I feel like she is the brain of the four of them. I think that she really aggravates things a lot, instead of kind of bringing it down. When Lynx got in an argument with John and Edward, that was not even her argument. It was Rhianna’s argument, and it could have stayed there. but Chelsey somehow was able to manipulate the situation and get Lynx involved in a matter that didn’t even include her. And quite honestly, I believe her to be somebody who’s very toxic. She’s so toxic, I think my coffee would taste better in the morning if she weren’t here.”

Omar: “I think the house would definitely be better if he weren’t here. I don’t think he wants to get to know me as a person. I don’t really see him getting to know Harry. I don’t really see him investing in Rob. Like his investments in people are very surface level. And for that reason, I feel like if you’re here, you’re here to actually get to know people and just try to create a good atmosphere and I feel like he’s not in that place.”
