New parents Penny and Vinny struggle to deal with the effects of sleep deprivation.
Nancy arrives back in the Square to seek legal advice from her brother but makes it clear to him that Linda’s not to know that she’s back. Meanwhile Linda gets upset with Max after Annie and Ollie spot them kissing – but Max is clear that nobody should know about them until after his annulment with Cindy is finalised.
Later, after learning from Max that Nancy’s back, Linda and Elaine head to see her and following a heated argument, Nancy tells her mum the truth.
Nicola’s still smarting after Ned blackmailed her for a share in Harry’s Barn, and when they both arrive for work, it soon becomes clear that Ned intends to be hands-on with running the bar.
At home, Nicola and Gemma reminisce about old times, but their happy moment is cur short when Jodie unpacks their dad’s medal and Nicola explodes.

Linda’s shocked to learn what is really going on as Johnny and Elaine do their best to smooth things over. Hoping they may reciprocate, Linda decides to be honest with her family – and tells them about her and Max.
Harvey tries to help out Kathy by cleaning the chip shop before an inspection but it’s clear that he’s taken on too much.
Ned gathers the family at Harry’s Barn to unveil their dad’s framed medal in an attempt to get at Nicola, but he’s left surprised when she doesn’t take the bait.
Also on Tuesday: Despite his efforts, Kat continues to shut Alfie out.

At the chippy, Harvey awaits the inspection but is waylaid when Lily reveals that she’s missing a career open day and he offers to look after Charli so that she can attend.
Nicola shows Ryder the ropes behind the bar but when she spots tension between Ryder and Ned, she takes Ryder for lunch and encourages him to open up.
Also on Wednesday: Penny sticks up for Vinny when Suki questions their parenting skills.

Penny gets anxious when Rose and Jodie remark that baby Ethan doesn’t look like Vinny.
