UKTV has announced the launch of eight new FAST channels, each dedicated to a specific show.
The new stations will become available on Freely and LG Channels before the end of the year and expand the broadcaster’s FAST portfolio to 12 channels, joining U&Laughs, U&Transport, U&Real Heroes and U&The Past.
The eight themed channels include EastEnders, Casualty, Holby City, Antiques Roadshow, DIY SOS, Top Gear, Gardeners’ World and Bargain Hunt.
“Our new FAST channels bring together some of the most loved brands in British television, from Top Gear and EastEnders to Gardeners’ World and Antiques Roadshow,” said Andrea Amey, UKTV’s chief digital officer.
“By creating dedicated destinations for these programmes, we’re making it easier for viewers to rediscover favourite episodes and enjoy hundreds of hours of great content for free.”
