The Pitt star Noah Wyle has been named as People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2026.
The 55-year-old actor succeeds 2025 winner Jonathan Bailey in picking up the prestigious title, which has been awarded annually since 1985.
“I thought that sounded like a prank – just not in a million years did I think that this would be an honour bestowed on me,” he told the magazine.
Referring to his wife Sara, he added: “She thinks I’m a good guy and that the kind of person that I am and the kind of father I am, the kind of husband I am, is worth promoting.
“I thought, ‘Okay, if you say so.’ She was very pleased that this reflects well on her taste.”
Wyle joins a group of past winners including Tom Cruise (1990), David Beckham (2015), Brad Pitt (2000) and John F Kennedy Jr (1988).
