After Abi tells Carl that she’s not in the mood for sex, he sneakily texts James. Later, Debbie demands answers when she spots Abi with a hotel card but Abi claims that she stayed there a while ago and forgot to return the card. When Debbie’s unable to remember the booking, Carl convinces her that her dementia is to blame – but back at the hotel, as Debbie checks the CCTV she sees footage of Abi heading to Carl’s room.
Nina worries as Asha knocks back the drinks at the Bistro.
Glenda tells Jenny and Rita that she plans to rig the Rovers dating night to ensure George is matched with Jenny first rather than Christina – but as the draw of names takes place, Rita calls Jenny to let her know that she’s had a fall.
Billy calls in at the Bistro and is surprised to see Theo comforting Danielle. At the community centre, Theo snaps at Billy and Todd.

Todd’s pleasantly surprised when Theo agrees to come on a night out in the gay village with Sean, James, Mary, Glenda and Christina. Things are going well until a man, Owen, recognises Theo and approaches him, determined to have it out. Theo manhandles Owen out of the club and onto the street, telling him to back off – but who is Owen?

At the station, Kit finds Bethany, who explains that she’s been accused of car theft after quitting her job in London then taking her boss’s car without permission to drive back to Manchester. Can he help her out of her bind? Later, Bethany admits to her mum that she quit before she was pushed but is now back for good.
Also on Friday: Carla loses her temper with Becky, Todd’s concerned after Theo goes missing and Asha tells Dev that she’s made the right decision to retract her complaint.
