Rapper Aitch is reportedly in line to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! when the show returns next month.
The 25-year-old – first name Harrison Armstrong – has had nine Top 10 hits in the UK, including ‘Taste (Make It Shake)’ and ‘Baby’, as well as a number two album.
The Brit winner recently announced four gigs in Australia, where the show is filmed, for first week of January – suggesting that he could be taking an extended trip Down Under.
“Aitch has a massive following among teenagers and 20-somethings and bosses will be hoping he’ll bring a new generation of fans,” a source told The Sun.
“He’ll make for great viewing as he has a plethora of stories from his time in the music industry. He’s also known for having a sharp wit which will keep his campmates and viewers entertained.
“Producers want a broad appeal for audiences at home, and he forms part of the bid to have celebrities of all ages taking part.”
Other names linked with the show include Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley, radio host Nick Ferrari and ex-EastEnders star Shona McGarty.
