Leo Cole, Brook Debio and Chloe Atkinson as Ro, Ant and Dee Dee Hutchinson in Hollyoaks / Lime Pictures
Hollyoaks has confirmed a recast of three of the Hutchinson kids and will give them their joint-debut in next week’s 30th anniversary episodes.
Leo Cole, Brook Debio and Chloe Atkinson will take over the roles of Ro, Ant and Dee Dee respectively, first appearing for the wedding of their parents Tony (Nick Pickard) and Diane (Alex Fletcher).
“I am so excited and grateful to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks as Dee Dee Hutchinson,” said Atkinson, who replaces Lacey Findlow.
“My time here so far has been truly amazing, and I cannot wait to continue the journey. The rest of the cast has welcomed me with open arms.
“I couldn’t finish this message without mentioning Lacey Findlow and how lucky I feel to show you a different side to the character she brought to life and played so incredibly well.”
Debio – previously seen on Coronation Street playing a young Kit Green – said: “It’s been so exciting joining the cast of Hollyoaks as Ant Hutchinson – it’s a real privilege to be part of a well-established and welcoming family.
“Filming has been a blast – especially with some of the intense scenes we’ve been shooting. I’m really grateful to have been trusted with such an important storyline.”
The three will first be seen in Monday’s episode, available from 7am on Channel 4 streaming or at 7pm on E4.
