Stranger Things stamps collection / Royal Mail
Royal Mail has released a special set of stamps to mark the series finale of Stranger Things.
The global sci-fi hit came to a conclusion on New Year’s Day with an epic finale on Netflix – although the climax to the years-long saga drew a mixed reaction from fans.
The limited edition stamps, designed by British artist Kyle Lambert, comprise a main set of 10 stamps and a miniature sheet of four stamps.
The 10 stamps in the main set comprise five pairs – one pair for each season – with the top five stamps representing the characters in the Rightside Up – the ‘real’ world – with a red background, and the other five representing the alternate dimension with a blue background, aka the ‘Upside Down’. The four stamps in the mini set show the four friends riding their iconic 80s bikes.
Additionally, fans can see extra detail by shining a UV light on the stamps to reveal iconic logos from the show.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate Stranger Things with this striking stamp collection,” said David Gold, the Royal Mail’s director of external affairs.
“Each design captures the essence of the series – from its unforgettable characters to the eerie imagery that has gripped audiences worldwide – making this a true tribute to one of modern television’s most popular shows.”
The stamp sets can be ordered online through the Royal Mail website.
