Sydney Sweeney in The Housemaid / Lionsgate
Sydney Sweeney thriller The Housemaid returned to the top of the UK and Ireland Box Office over the weekend after another strong performance.
The sleeper hit added receipts of just over £2m to take its gross to date to £26.08m, pushing down horror sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple to third place in its second week of release, with sales of £1.23m.
Oscar-nominated Hamnet, starring Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley, was in second place, adding another £1.96m for a gross of £12.06m.
Avatar: Fire and Ash ranked fourth with £1.10m to take its impressive gross to £40.17m.
