Pascha Myhill for The Apprentice S20 / BBC
Age: 21
From: Reading, Berkshire
Occupation: Recruitment Consultant
What’s your business plan?
“A recruitment company within private healthcare, focusing on supplying experienced, compliant, and compassionate professionals to private nursing homes, care homes, supported living services, and domiciliary care providers and nurseries within the UK.”
What makes you a unique candidate?
“At 21 I bring a fresh and driven approach to the private care recruitment industry. I have the energy, ambition, and real understanding of what both care providers and staff need to succeed. My goal isn’t to follow the same path as traditional recruiters who chase numbers, I want to build a business that focuses on quality, compassion, and compliance. I know how demanding the care sector can be, and I’m passionate about creating a service that genuinely supports care homes and the people who work within them. Being young gives me an advantage, I’m adaptable, ambitious, and ready to do things differently. With Lord Sugar’s investment and guidance, I believe we can grow something powerful together, an organisation that sets new standards and builds an empire in care recruitment.”
Why do you deserve Lord Sugar’s investment?
“I deserve Lord Sugar’s investment because I truly want this, not just for me but for the care and recruitment industry as a whole. I’m 21, full of passion and grit, and I’ve never been more determined to build something meaningful. This isn’t just a business idea for me, it’s my chance to make a real difference, helping care homes and nurseries and staff while building a strong, successful company. I’m willing to work harder than anyone, learn from every challenge, and do whatever it takes to make this succeed. With Lord Sugar’s support and guidance, I know I can turn my vision into a thriving, industry-leading business, and I won’t stop until it’s done.”
