Space Live on ITVX
ITVX will launch a 24/7 live stream from space this week, it has been announced.
The broadcast – from space TV pioneers Sen – is a live Ultra HD feed from the International Space Station, which orbits the Earth at a height of around 250 miles.
The camera is attached to the Columbus science lab module and offers a view of terrain around 150 miles in diameter.
Sen founder Charles Black said: “Sen was founded to democratise space through video. Partnering with ITV Studios brings our vision to life – giving millions of people the chance to see Earth exactly as astronauts see it.”
Space Live launches on ITVX this Wednesday, October 15 and will also be available via Samsung TV Plus.
