RugbyPass TV
World Rugby has launched a new, free FAST channel via Samsung TV Plus offering live and archive rugby matches.
Called RugbyPass TV, the new station is based on the RugbyPass service which launched in 2023 and provides access to games that may not be broadcast elsewhere.
The channel will also show rugby sevens, documentaries, classic matches and in-depth analysis of key matches, while upcoming live coverage includes the World Rugby U20 Championship and USA vs. England on July 19.
“RugbyPass TV is a global leader in rugby content, and we’re thrilled to bring their first-ever FAST channel to Samsung TV Plus users in the UK,” said Gus Grimaldi, head of Samsung TV Plus in the EMEA.
“This launch not only enhances our sports offering but introduces a beloved sport to new fans by removing the paywall.”
The channel is now live on Samsung TV Plus in the UK, with a US launch following soon.
