Sky Gigafast
Sky has launched a new broadband package offering speeds of up to 5Gbps.
The Full Fibre 5 Gigafast + package becomes the fastest consumer broadband package offered by a major provider in the UK, the company said.
Around 11% of homes will be able to take the package, which is being delivered by the CityFibre network and also comes with a new hub that works off WiFi 7 technology.
Full Fibre 5 Gigafast + will cost £80 a month, while a less fast version of 2.5Gbps is on offer for £70 a month.

“Combined with our existing full fibre range, we’re offering more choice than ever before. Powered by cutting-edge WiFi 7 technology, these plans deliver smarter, faster, and more reliable connectivity to homes across the country.”
Eligible customers can order the service through the Sky website from this Tuesday, July 15.
