Sky streamers deal 2026
Sky has announced a major new offering that will see four streaming services included together as part of a single package.
The deal will provide access to Netflix, Disney+, new service HBO Max and hayu alongside existing Sky content.
For many years Sky customers have been able to tack on Netflix to their Sky subscription, while the other services have been accessible through apps on the platform.
For existing Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers with the ‘Sky Ultimate TV’ pack, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads and hayu will automatically join their lineup alongside Sky and Netflix content at no additional cost.
Sky Q customers with Sky Signature and Sky Entertainment, or other relevant packs, will get the same services added to their lineup at no additional cost – and for Disney+, they are able to port over any existing subscription to save money.
As part of the agreements, Disney+ content will become integrated into Sky’s homepage, including the Top Picks rail and Continue Watching.
Following the relaunch of Disney Junior linear TV channel last year, a Disney+ Cinema linear channel will launch for Sky Cinema customers in March. A previous Sky Cinema Disney channel closed down in December 2020 and was effectively replaced several months earlier by Sky Cinema Animation, but it is unknown whether Sky Cinema Animation will continue when Disney+ Cinema launches.
Sophia Ahmad, chief consumer officer at Sky, said: “This marks a new era for Sky and NOW. In a world-first, we’re bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu into a single Sky TV subscription.
“Nowhere else offers this breadth of incredible entertainment in a fully integrated experience, with everything customers love watching side by side so viewers can jump from show to show with ease.
“Millions of existing customers will get easy access to this new line-up as standard at unbeatable value. All NOW Entertainment customers will get access to HBO Max, included at no extra cost, fully integrated within the NOW app. We’re proud to continue Sky’s legacy of innovation, making it easier than ever for people to enjoy the very best entertainment and best experience, all in one place.”
HBO Max launches in the UK and Ireland on March 26.
