In a special flashforward episode, a nervous Betsy is being interviewed by police after finding a dead body – and when the detective restarts the tape it emerges that the interview is happening in April.
The episode then switches between real time and the day of the murder, ending with the reveal of five potential victims. So who has been killed and who is the murderer?

Carl arranges plans for the hotel fire with Jez, but Ronnie is soon on to him and tells Carl that whatever he was plotting, he can forget it. When Carl informs Ronnie that Debbie is actually his mother, how will Ronnie react?


After Debbie calls Lou ‘Abi’ by mistake, she reveals to her fellow inmate that she has onset dementia. When another inmate called Paula seems to recognise Debbie, Lou warns Debbie to steer clear as Paula is bad news. With Lou gone, Paula approaches Debbie and reminds her that she once barred her from the hotel.


Daniel drops by The Rovers to make a reluctant apology to Will, who responds by shaking Daniel’s hand. Ben’s impressed by his son’s maturity and lets him spend the night at his mate “Ethan’s”, unaware that he’s actually intending to spend the night with Megan. But as Will visits Megan, Sam is watching on…

Also on Tuesday: David persuades Brian to give Lily a go as a paper girl, while Bernie’s annoyed at Mal when he tries to impress her by showing her a bag of healing crystals.

Debbie’s interrupted in her cell when Paula barges in before bursting in to tears, explaining that her boyfriend – who is doing time for aggravated burglary – has dumped her. Later, when Ronnie and Kevin visit Debbie, Ronnie asks her about Carl’s claim that she’s his mother and she confirms that it’s true.


After Lily dumps the newspapers in the bin on her first paper round, Hope retrieves them and hands them back to Rita. But when Hope wants Rita’s help for her Duke of Edinburgh badge, she makes the mistake of having a go at Rita’s age.

Also on Wednesday: Maggie admits to Ben and Eva that she deliberately sabotaged Ollie’s date with Lauren, while Megan tells Will that they need a plan to get Sam on side.

Will assures Sam that his relationship with Megan is purely professional, but when Daniel arrives, Will does a runner and leaves Sam to take the blame. But later, Sam logs on to his hidden camera app and sees Megan and Will entering the flat together…
