The episode then switches between real time and the day of the murder, ending with the reveal of five potential victims. So who has been killed and who is the murderer?

After Debbie calls Lou ‘Abi’ by mistake, she reveals to her fellow inmate that she has onset dementia. When another inmate called Paula seems to recognise Debbie, Lou warns Debbie to steer clear as Paula is bad news. With Lou gone, Paula approaches Debbie and reminds her that she once barred her from the hotel.

Daniel drops by The Rovers to make a reluctant apology to Will, who responds by shaking Daniel’s hand. But as Will visits Megan, Sam is watching on…
