Bernie’s uncomfortable when Mal arrives at Roy’s to do the electric work and later, when they bump into each other at the Rovers, Mal tells Bernie that he’ll keep their secret and leave as soon as his work at Roy’s is done.

Kevin arrives for lunch but instead finds Tim, Sally, Debbie, Abi, Tyrone and Ronnie, who share their concerns and worries about his recent behaviour.

Shona gets hold of the number for her dad’s old mate Bernard Bennett but, having overheard, Jodie secretly calls Bernard and asks him for a favour.

Also on Monday: Jack decides to stay with Abi for a few days, Carl rails at Debbie for putting Ryan in charge of the hotel and Todd keeps his money worries bottled up.

Summer finds Todd’s fridge empty and offers to do a shop for him, while Todd leaves Theo a voicemail explaining that he’s run out of cash. Later, when Sarah reminds Todd that he owes Harry a tenner for his sponsored walk, Todd snaps at her.

Also on Friday: Mal helps Bernie with the lunchtime rush at the café, while Jodie secretly pulls something out of her bag at No.8.
