This week on Coronation Street, as Craig is laid to rest, Betsy becomes determined to find out what really happened to her late mum.
Meanwhile, Maria comes to blows with Lou, Brody is found badly injured and Todd feels sidelined by Theo.

Kit suggests to Lou that he take a paternity test to determine whether he is really Brody’s dad once and for all, but will she agree? Later, Kit, Sarah and Bernie find Brody injured in an alleyway lying next to a broken bottle of whiskey.


With Craig’s memorial approaching, Carla admits to Betsy that she’s worried about how Lisa is coping.


When Millie arrives with an overnight bag, Theo heads off to talk to Danielle while Todd is left to look after Millie, who drops a huge bombshell on him.


Also on Monday: Toyah tells Ronnie that she doesn’t want to see Leanne get hurt again, while Lou asks Gary if he can help her to sell Mick’s van.

The mourners gather at Craig’s memorial but Kit, who is due to give a speech, is nowhere to be seen. Kirk’s in no state to step in for him so Lisa fills in with a heartfelt speech honouring Craig.


Lisa catches Betsy snooping through one of her old files and takes it off her – and when Betsy asks what is so secret, Lisa lies and claims that it relates to her paternity so she can’t see it until she’s 18. But later, Betsy shows Lauren a picture on her phone of the letter she found containing information on her late mum Becky.


Lou is left to hold the fort at the salon while Maria goes to Craig’s memorial. But when Gary tells Lou just how much loved Craig was in the community, Lou decides to go to the memorial…


Also on Wednesday: Sally and Tim prepare for their training session with the fostering agency, while Theo assures Todd that the only reason he has moved out is for the sake of his kids.

Friday, June 13

Lou overhears Maria chatting to Shona about the Platts’ BBQ and later, when Lou realises that Maria has left her phone behind, she senses an opportunity and heads to the Platts’ to hand it over. Shona invites her to stay and join them.


Lou spots the takings from the salon in Shona’s bag and wonders whether to steal the cash. Maria assumes the worst and demands that Lou empty her pockets. From outside, a loud crash is heard from the living room, where Lou is on the floor over a broken coffee table with Maria standing over her.



Maria offloads to Sarah about Lou in the Rovers but they are interrupted by the arrival of the police, who tell Maria that they are arresting her on suspicion of ABH.


Sally finds Tim looking after Joanie and Shanice again and tells him that Lou is just using him, but Tim points out that it’s good practice. When Sally berates Tim for his ways around the house, Joanie and Shanice cling to each other, visibly scared, leaving Sally and Tim determined to help them.



Also on Friday: Betsy and Lauren visit Logan in prison trying to find answers about what happened to Becky, while Todd is left gutted when Theo cancels their date.
