Sara Poyzer
The Archers and West End star Sara Poyzer has joined the cast of Coronation Street playing the ex-girlfriend of Ronnie (Vinta Morgan).
Ronnie has just been dumped by fiancée Debbie (Sue Devaney), unaware that she is harbouring a secret of vascular dementia.
Poyzer – Leonie Schnell on The Archers – will arrive on the cobbles as Fiona Morley, who offers Ronnie the chance to make some quick cash by shifting on some stolen cars.
Ronnie agrees to go along with things at first but gets cold feet when a grieving man is one of his prospective customers and pulls out, but before too long Debbie’s brother Carl ((Jonathan Howard) tells Fiona that he wants in on the scam and can sell the cars through his brother Kevin’s (Michael Le Vell) garage.
Poyzer makes her debut in Monday night’s episode of the soap.
