Oscar and Patrick on EastEnders on August 26, 2025 / BBC
This week on EastEnders, Oscar can’t bear his guilt any more and decides to tell Patrick the truth.
Meanwhile, Harry is given a new assignment by Ravi, Joel has another shocking outburst, Tommy makes a bombshell discovery and Anthony Trueman returns to Walford.

Monday, August 25

Anna, Gina and Harry get ready for Carnival with Kojo, but for Harry the event is overshadowed by Okie’s continued presence.



Anthony Trueman returns to Walford earlier than planned in order to surprise Patrick ahead of the wedding but is shocked to learn about his recent attack.
Meanwhile, Jack insists to Oscar that he must hand himself in but Lauren convinces Jack not to condemn his nephew to another prison stint – and the case is subsequently closed due to a lack of evidence.
Later, overwhelmed by his guilt, Oscar visits Patrick and admits the truth to him.


Lily finds out that Tommy has set up a fake account which he’s using to like nasty posts about Stacey, and when Alfie and Kat confront him, they’re left troubled by his reaction.
Meanwhile, Joel is hellbent on getting money for tickets to see his favourite influencer, but after failing to get work from Ian, Joel gets a job from Harry wiping stolen phones and recruits Tommy to help him out. But when Tommy spots Kat’s stolen phone, he listens to her voicemail and is shocked to hear Alfie drunkenly confessing all about Zoe.



Callum’s pleased when Johnny returns to the Square but is put out to see him on a date in The Albert.

As Oscar confesses to what he did, an upset Patrick starts to suffer a panic attack as the Trueman-Fox clan arrive.
Lauren has questions of her own to answer when Peter realises she’s been lying for her brother. When an outraged Anthony insists that they report Oscar to the police, Jack asserts that what happens next must be Patrick’s decision.






Kat is determined to bear down hard on Tommy but when Alfie resolves to handle it, he’s left shocked when Tommy tells him that he’s heard the incriminating voicemail. Alfie informs Stacey that Tommy knows and asks her to convince him not to tell Kat.



Ravi threatens Joel when he learns that Harry has paid him to sort the stolen phones.


Also on Tuesday: Johnny helps Callum deal with a delicate issue affecting Lexi.

Stacey and Alfie are distracted as Kat tries to get everyone involved with a Summer BBQ event at The Vic.
Meanwhile, Amy and Lily berate Joel when he makes some offensive comments to them, and the nature of his reaction leaves even Tommy shocked.
Later, back at the pub, Kat and Tommy have a huge row before Alfie drops a bombshell.


Also on Wednesday: Harry is thrown into a panic when Ravi orders him to get rid of a gun, while Nigel gets suspicious when Julie takes a mysterious phone call.

Yolande’s heartbroken when Patrick announces that in light of recent events he wants to postpone the wedding.


Vicki and Ross are horrified to learn what happened in the café with Amy, but when they confront Joel things turn ugly fast.
