Emmerdale specials
Emmerdale has announced three standalone special episodes airing over the coming weeks.
The first is a father-daughter special featuring Marlon (Mark Charnock) and April (Amelia Flanagan) amid her increasing involvement in County Lines drug gangs.
A synopsis for the special reads: “A special episode will explore this fragile and possibly broken relationship between a father and his daughter as she slips further from his grasp.”
Another episode will focus on Robert (Ryan Hawley) and his incarceration, exploring what happened to him behind bars and how he changed over the last six years.
The final special will answer the question that has troubled fans for the last three months – what happened to Bear (Joshua Richards)?
Son Paddy (Dominic Brunt) believed that he was staying with friends in Ireland but the episode reveals that he never actually made the trip as he deals with being “trapped in an all-too-common situation for a forgotten generation”.
The three episodes will air in the first few weeks of November.
