Lewis Cope has suggested that he could reprise his role as Nicky Miligan on Emmerdale in the future.
The character, who appeared in the village from Christmas 2022 until Summer 2024, is the son of Caleb (Peter Ash) and Ruby (Beth Cordingly) and younger brother of Steph (Georgia Jay).
Nicky left the Dales to start a new life with his boyfriend Suni away from his family, but Cope – currently competing on Strictly Come Dancing – has now revealed that he is open to returning.
“Nicky can come back at any point,” he told the Radio Times. “His family is still in there, it’s was a brilliant, brilliant job for me.
“I loved being there, everyone’s so lovely and they’ve been so supportive of [Strictly] as well. So, you never know what’s going to happen in the future.”
He added: “Never say never!”
Cope is one of the favourites to win this year’s Strictly, which continues Saturday at 6.25pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
