Emmerdale regular Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) will reportedly be killed off in shock scenes airing later this year.
The character – brother of Moira (Natalie J Robb) – arrived in the Dales almost five years ago and soon got into a relationship with, and subsequently married, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
According to The Sun, Mack will meet his maker at the hands of killer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), who bumps him off after Mack discovers his true nature.

A source told the newspaper: “The scenes are going to be really harrowing for fans to watch.
“Mackenzie has been in so many scrapes and dangerous positions but this time it looks like he’s bitten off more than he can chew. Viewers will be on the edges of their seats watching what happens.”
They added: “There are huge twists and turns coming throughout this storyline and it’s going to run for months and months.
“Nothing can be ruled out – bosses are really going for it and doing everything they can to keep the audience on their toes.”
Boyd is believed to have already filmed his final scenes as Mack, which will play out on screen this autumn.
