Charity admits to DS Reid that Todd was blackmailing her and gives a formal statement, but when Reid tells her that it will be treated separately from the sexual assault allegation, Charity’s dismayed that it all may have been for nothing.
Mack’s concerned when Charity puts on a brave face and prepares to go to Leyla’s christening.
Claudette’s thrilled when Kev returns and offers him a place to stay, which he accepts. Kev tells Charles and Claudette that Lewis is his son but wants nothing to do with him. Claudette tries to rally his spirits by telling him that he’s a good man who deserves a relationship with Lewis.
Sarah gets suspicious when Serena mentions that she knew John, but when Serena reveals that she’s been living out of her car Sarah offers her a place to stay for the night.
