Monday, May 26

On the day of the wedding, John is tormented with nightmares of being arrested for Nate’s murder – and when Cain reveals that work has begun on dredging the lake, a panicked John starts packing to make an escape. Aaron catches him in the act but John assures him it’s just pre-wedding jitters.
Having got some good news from the lake, John decides to go through with the wedding but his plans are thrown another curveball by the arrival of Cathleen, who reveals that Aidan is fully awake from the coma and asking for John.
A social worker interrupts Joe and Dawn with some questions following a safeguarding concern. Billy and Dawn are both relieved when the social worker decides that no further action is needed.
Also on Monday: Sarah gets a call asking her to come in for her biopsy results, while Ross steals Lewis’s keys so that Mack can break into his house to look for cannabis.

Tuesday, May 27

John gets a new vision of Aidan interrupting his wedding to Aaron.
John agrees to go with Cathleen to the hospital to see Aidan as a concerned Aaron follows them secretly. Aaron watches John with Aidan and mistakenly believes John still loves him – then decides to call off the wedding despite John’s protestations.
Lewis gets a notification alerting him to an intruder in his attic, and when he realises it’s Mack he asks Ross for an explanation.
Sarah gets the news that she has the early stages of cervical cancer but learns that she may still be able to become pregnant. Jacob spots her while on a shift and she breaks down to him, confessing that she’s just been diagnosed with cancer.

Wednesday, May 28

Billy thinks that Dawn and the kids should move out of Home Farm to get away from Joe, but when Dawn refuses Billy accuses her of still having feelings for Joe.
John watches as Aaron drives away from him, while at the pub, Belle, Chas and Victoria try to cover for them in front of impatient guests.
John finds Aaron and pleads with him to reconsider – and after much tension, they finally arrive for the ceremony. With Mack absent, Paddy steps in as best man and the ceremony begins…
Also on Wednesday: Lewis communicates with Mack through his phone app, keeping him trapped until Ross finally admits that he was involved. Lewis agrees to let Mack go on the condition that Ross tells him how his mum died.
