Charity worries over Sarah as she’s reminded what the operation cost her when she returns to the village.
Joe discovers a blackmail demand for 100 grand in the kitchen at Home Farm and, suspicious that henchman Shaun is responsible, he decides to sack him.
After talking things through with Sam, Joe decides to get away for a while, claiming to Dawn that he has to go on a business trip – but as he’s about to leave, Joe is knocked unconscious by Shaun with a shovel.
At the garage, Vinny faces uncomfortable questions about his sexuality – but when Gabby passes by while on a call to Laurel, a glitch allows Laurel to overhear Vinny and Kammy’s chat about relationships.
Also on Tuesday: Kim informs Dawn that she’s starting her first relationship since Will’s death.

Tracy has a go at Cain for putting up posters about Nate’s memorial service without considering whether it could have an impact on Frankie.
Laurel has a private word with Vinny and encourages him not to marry Gabby if he has any doubts. Meanwhile Gabby – still on her crash diet – goes for a ride with Sarah but suddenly faints at the wheel, forcing Sarah to bring the car to a stop, injuring herself in the process. Both arrive at A&E in a bad way.
Gabby is given the all-clear but is told off for her diet – and as Vinny arrives, he puts his doubts on the back burner and showers her with love.
Meanwhile, when Cain arrives at the hospital Sarah tells him just how much she’s realised she wants a family of her own. Charity’s stunned to walk in and hear Cain suggesting to Sarah that she try surrogacy but he commits to helping his granddaughter, no matter what it takes.
Woozy and disorientated after being knocked out by Shaun, Joe wakes up in a makeshift hospital room with Doctor Crowley looming over him – what does he want?
Lewis offers up his assistance as Nicola struggles to cope in the café and she’s left impressed when he’s a huge hit with the customers.
