Monday, May 4

Dylan, Bear and Paddy are in the dock on the first day of court. The trial begins, leaving Bear overwhelmed as the defence and prosecution argue their cases and discuss Ray’s death and what happened at the farm.
A nervous April testifies but is left heartbroken when she struggles under cross-examination, after which Dylan takes to the stand and explains how Bear saved his and Paddy’s lives from Ray.
Later, Simo takes his turn, which sends Bear spiralling and then at the end of the day, solicitor Zara suggests to Paddy that Bear be put on the stand tomorrow.

Todd continues to meddle in Jacob’s life, causing friction between him and Sarah when she suggests to her that Jacob is keen to get back to work despite the baby. Jacob confronts Todd in the ladies’ toilets but is interrupted by Vanessa, who is angered by his behaviour. Later, a teary Jacob comes clean to Sarah about all of the workplace bullying that he’s been subjected to.


Paddy is heartbroken to learn that the salon has been suffering and the business is in financial peril – circumstances which could be made worse if he is locked up.


Also on Wednesday: Dawn admits to Moira that she’s struggling to stay with Joe after everything she’s learned, but Moira encourages her to stay the course to get money to fight for custody.

Sarah encourages Jacob to stand up to Todd before confronting Vanessa about believing Todd ahead of Jacob. At the hospital, Jacob visits Carol in HR but is left gobsmacked when she reveals that Todd has submitted a formal complaint about him with a full file of evidence including voice recordings. Later, when Sarah hears about the latest development she urges a deflated Jacob to speak to Todd face to face.

Mandy’s left heartbroken by the closure of the salon.
