Spitting Image puppets for Boris Johnson, Prince Andrew revealed

BritBox releases a first look at the Spitting Image puppets for Boris Johnson, Dominic Cummings and Prince Andrew.

BritBox has released a first look at some of the puppets to be used in the upcoming revival of Spitting Image.

The satirical series was a staple of the ITV schedules in the 1980s and 1990s and became infamous for its cutting parodies of the politicians and celebrities of the day via puppets.

A new version is in development for streaming service BritBox and today the first pictures of the dishevelled puppet for Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been revealed.

Also to be featured is the PM's chief aide Dominic Cummings, who appears as a sinister, almost gargoyle-like figure.

Prince Andrew, who infamously gave a car-crash interview with Newsnight last year, is pictured looking slightly aloof in his puppet.

Other celebrities to be sent up on the show include Kanye West, Beyonce, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Prince Harry.
