Armie Hammer "warned about his conduct" by police

Police in the Cayman Islands confirm that they have "warned" Armie Hammer about "misuse of ICT" following the leak of a video from his alleged private Instagram account.

The Cayman Islands police force have revealed that officers have spoken to Armie Hammer following the recent leak of a private video.

The 34-year-old actor has been embroiled in scandal for the last fortnight after multiple ex-girlfriends alleged that he has cannibalistic desires and extreme sexual fetishes - claims he has described as "bullshit".

Last weekend posts from his alleged private Instagram account were published in a newspaper, including one which depicted a video of a woman on all fours on a bed alongside the caption: "Well... my ex (for a very good reason) wife is refusing to come back to america with my children. So I have to go back to Cayman... which sucks. Except there are a few silver linings. Like f**king Ms. Cayman again while I'm down there."

Hammer subsequently apologised, explaining that he did not mean that the woman in question was literally Miss Cayman Islands, but nevertheless, local police decided to visit him to investigate the matter further.

In a statement released to ET, a spokesperson said: "On January 15, 2021, the RCIPS received an allegation of misuse of ICT in relation to a suggestive video which had been posted on social media.

"Officers investigated the matter and spoke to the suspect, who was warned about his conduct, in accordance with the wishes of the complainant. The matter is now closed."

Hammer is yet to comment publicly on some of the more recent accusations levelled against him by ex-girlfriends.
