Rylan Clark-Neal reportedly splits from his husband Dan Neal after an eight-year relationship.

Rylan Clark-Neal has reportedly split from his husband Dan Neal after eight years together.

The TV presenter, 32, met Dan while he was hosting Big Brother's Bit On The Side and former police officer Dan, now 41, was appearing as a contestant on the 14th series of Big Brother.

The couple tied the knot two years later and in 2016 became the first gay couple to host ITV's This Morning.

Fans recently noticed that Rylan had been conspicuously absent from social media for several months and now The Sun has reported that he has been dealing with the break-up of his marriage.

"Rylan's a huge talent so obviously fans and TV execs are hoping to see him back on the airwaves soon," a source told the newspaper.

"Dan's very well liked among their friends so of course they all wish him the best too."

Rylan had been due to host the BBC's coverage of the Eurovision semi-finals in May but pulled out at the last minute, with his absence at the time being attributed to illness.
