Sam Meyer has been announced as the final casting in the new Keane family on Hollyoaks.
Earlier this week it was revealed that the new family – including actors Matthew Wolfenden, Rebecca Ryan and Lewis Walton – would be moving to Hollyoaks village in the coming months.
The unit is now completed by 19-year-old Sam Meyer, a finalist to get into Simon Cowell’s boyband December 10, who will play Maddox Keane.
“I am absolutely buzzing to say that I am joining the cast of Hollyoaks,” he said. “He’s a cool kid with a lot of golden retriever-like energy, he loves his fashion and he’s quite smart for his age. Look out for this new kid in the village!
“I am happy that I am joining the cast as part of a brand-new family as well and I can’t wait to see what trouble we all get into together…”
The new family, who have “a hidden connection to a beloved Hollyoaks family”, will appear on screen later this Spring.
