Dillon on Hollyoaks on March 19, 2025 / Lime Pictures
Nathaniel Dass has left his role as Dillon Ray on Hollyoaks after three years, it has been confirmed.
In emotional scenes broadcast in Monday’s episode, Dillon said goodbye both to the village and his fan-favourite romance with Lucas (Oscar Curtis) when Lucas decided to return to prison rather than go on the run.
“It’s been three years for me, and I’m absolutely gutted that every day I won’t be able to come in and see everyone,” said Dass, 23, in quotes reported by Metro.
“I’ve built so many amazing relationships here, so I’m really sad about that and I’m going to miss playing Dillon, he’s a character I’ve been with for three years, but also, I am ready.
“[I’m] ready to go see the world and play other characters, but who knows, maybe one day I’ll get to play Dillon again.”
Curtis had also been rumoured to be leaving the soap but is expected to remain part of the cast after taking an extended break.
