Luca Guadagnino’s anticipated new movie about the rise of OpenAI, Artificial, is to receive its international premiere at the London Film Festival.
The film stars Andrew Garfield – also of The Social Network – as OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman and follows the period in which he was ousted as the head of his own company in 2023.
Other additions to the festival lineup include Primetime, starring Robert Pattinson as To Catch A Predator Chris Hansen; Chris Rock’s Misty Green, a comedy about a washed-up actress also starring Adam Driver and Daniel Kaluuya; and Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall, a recording of the Geese frontman’s solo piano performance at the iconic venue last December.
Meanwhile, Nosferatu‘s Robert Eggers and legendary actor Javier Bardem have been added to the LFF Screen Talks lineup.
This year’s London Film Festival – the landmark 70th edition – runs from October 7 to 18.
