Oscars 2026: The winners in full

One Battle After Another took home the top honour of Best Picture at this year’s Oscars, as well as five other awards including Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson and Best Supporting Actor for Sean Penn.

It proved to be a humiliating night for Timothee Chalamet following his controversial comments about opera and ballet as he missed out on Best Actor to Sinners‘ Michael B Jordan and his film Marty Supreme failed to collect a single award.

As expected, Ireland’s Jessie Buckley was named Best Actress for her star turn as William Shakespeare’s wife in Hamnet, while Amy Madigan was picked as Best Supporting Actor for Weapons.

Elsewhere, a surprise result saw two winners declared in Best Live Action Short after a tied vote – and Frankenstein earned respect for its production qualities with three awards.
