The end of the Downton Abbey saga opened at the top of the UK and Ireland Box Office over the weekend, provisional data shows.
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale pulled in receipts of £4.39m, pushing last week’s topper The Conjuring: Last Rites down to three.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle – number one in the US – finished second with £3.46m, while dystopian survival movie The Long Walk debuted at four with £1.16m.
Elsewhere, long-awaited mockumentary sequel Spinal Tap II: The End Continues had an underwhelming opening at seven with sales of £215k.
