Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey have notched up another one-two weekend at the top of the UK and Ireland Box Office.
The latest Spidey outing is already the third highest-grossing film of all time worldwide and added a further £1.64m over the weekend to take its UK and Ireland gross to £96.3m.
The Odyssey, meanwhile, continued to notch up decent receipts in its eighth week of release to send its gross to £82.81m.
As the Summer holidays drew to a close, Toy Story 5 rebounded from 10th place to four with an additional £418k for a total of £58.22m.
Only one new entry made the top 10 – Hugh Jackman’s The Death of Robin Hood – with £316k, including two days of previews, for seventh place.
