President Donald Trump has launched a fresh attack on Robert De Niro, branding the acting legend a “sick and demented person”.
The pair have been trading blows for some time, with De Niro famously saying in 2016 just before Trump’s first Presidential victory that he wanted to “punch him in the face”.
In a new interview released earlier this week, De Niro fought back tears as he accused Trump of “destroying” the US, describing his behaviour as “sick” and “fucked-up”.
In a rant on Truth social clapping back at De Niro, Trump also took time to berate his old nemesis Rosie O’Donnell, who moved to Ireland in the wake of his re-election.
The President described the actor as “Trump Deranged Robert De Niro, another sick and demented person with, I believe, an extremely Low IQ, who has absolutely no idea what he is doing or saying — some of which is seriously CRIMINAL!”
He continued: “When I watched him break down in tears last night, much like a child would do, I realized that he may be even sicker than Crazy Rosie O’Donnell, who is right now in Ireland trying to figure out how to come back into our beautiful United States.
“The only difference between De Niro and Rosie is that she is probably somewhat smarter than him, which isn’t saying much.”
