Katie Price has posted an alarming Instagram message addressed to her terminally-ill mother Amy Price.
The 73-year-old, who also has son Daniel and daughter Sophie, has been battling idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) for at least a decade, having been officially diagnosed in 2017.
The condition is terminal and progressive, causing scarring of the lungs and shortness of breath – and has an average life expectancy of three to five years after diagnosis, although new treatments and procedures such as lung transplants can extend life significantly.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday night, Katie wrote – all sic: “please don’t leave me, please find the strength to stay with me longer on this earth your my EVERYTHING.
“And you know I’ve turned everything around and your so proud of me.Your my eyes, my voice, my strength, my absolute Everything.
“Your a warrior and I’m your baby girl always and you love me through everything and held my hand. I can’t lose you not now not EVER.
“I’ve NEVER loved anyone so much as you, your my WORLD.”
Appearing on her podcast with sister Sophie last week, Katie revealed that Amy is still in hospital after being admitted in July and is “very poorly at the minute”.
