Shawn Mendes has reportedly rented a home in English beauty spot The Cotswolds.
The Canadian singer, who celebrates his 27th birthday today, is known to be a great lover of nature and often posts pictures of himself in forests and lakes.
According to The Sun, Mendes is renting a pad in the small village of Great Tew, where the likes of Simon Cowell and the Beckhams also have homes.
One villager told the newspaper: “The word is he’s rented a little place here for some peace and quiet before his tour.
“No-one ever asks for selfies, so he must love being left alone – though heads do turn when he walks in.”
Mendes has just begun a tour of Europe, which will see him return to the UK for a gig at London’s The O2 on Saturday, August 16.
