Susie Dent and Alan Carr for Secret Genius / Channel 4
Alan Carr’s new Channel 4 show Secret Genius has reportedly earned a second series already.
The six-part series sees Carr and co-host Susie Dent meet people with “ordinary” jobs who sit the infamous Mensa test to find out how high their IQs are.
A source told The Sun: “The bonus is that despite being one of the busiest men in showbusiness, Alan would probably be able to do a second series.
“He has five different projects on the go, for the BBC as well as three streamers, but C4 bosses are confident he can return to do a sequel. Along with co-host Susie Dent, he’s seen as a crucial part of the series’ success.”
The final of Secret Genius, which will see the top four contestants compete for the crown, airs this Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4.
