Robert Irwin and Julia Morris for I'm A Celebriity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia / Network 10
The Aussie version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has been axed after 11 years and 12 series.
The show, which follows the same format as the UK original, is set in South Africa – the same location as the UK All Stars series – and has been on the air on local broadcaster Network 10 since 2015.
This year’s edition switched to a pre-recorded format and even though ratings were decent, and improved on last year, Network 10 confirmed that the show will not be returning in 2027.
A spokesperson said: “We have made the decision to rest I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2027 as we focus on offering our audience a range of content on all platforms.”
The Aussie version is hosted by Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, and comedian Julia Morris.
