
Nyendra for Bhutan at Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 / BBS
Singer-songwriter Nyendra has been selected to represent Bhutan at the inaugural edition of the Eurovision Song Contest Asia.
The 24-year-old becomes the first confirmed entrant for the contest, which will be held in Bangkok on Saturday, November 14.
Nyendra’s song ‘Lhayi Semo’, which translates as ‘The Angel’, triumphed in a two-hour selection programme which was broadcast locally on BBS and globally on the Eurovision YouTube channel.
Five acts competed in the final selection show, where the vote comprised 40% from a professional jury, 40% from the Bhutanese public and 20% from the rest of the world.
