AJ Odudu and Will Best for Big Brother 2025 / ITV
Big Brother will reportedly get a new companion vodcast show as a replacement for Late and Live this year.
ITV previously decided to drop the nightly spinoff show – hosted by BB presenters Will Best and AJ Odudu – for the 2026 run, supposedly for cost reasons.
The broadcaster subsequently also dropped Celebrity Big Brother for 2026 but remains committed to the civilian show, which is back for a new series this Autumn.
Despite dropping Late and Live, The Sun says that ITV has reconsidered the idea of having a spinoff following the success of The Traitors: Uncloaked on the BBC and is developing a new visualised podcast format.
“Late And Live just wasn’t making sense in terms of cost, but bosses know Big Brother has a loyal following who want more than a simple 60-minute show,” a source told the newspaper.
“They’re considering making a Late And Live vodcast to air after the main show on ITV. Essentially it’s a glamorised podcast, so costs are dramatically reduced.”
Housemate applications for the new series remain open online.
