Brian Cox as Logan Roy in Succession season four / HBO
Veteran actor Brian Cox has joined the cast of Dexter: Resurrection season two playing The New York Ripper.
The Succession star will play a character called Dom Frant, who was referenced but not seen in the first season of the Dexter spinoff show.
A description of the character reads: “A serial killer who terrorized the City years ago. Though no longer active as a killer, he’s found a new way to live into his infamy by continuing to taunt the survivors of his long-ago murder spree.”
Also on the cast are Michael C Hall as the titular Dexter Morgan, Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, David Zayas and Peter Dinklage.
Filming on season two is currently underway in New York ahead of an expected release on Paramount+ at the end of the year.
