Scott Mills for The Celebrity Great British Bake Off 2026 / Channel 4
Channel 4 has decided not to show the episode of The Great Celebrity Bake Off featuring Scott Mills.
Last month the 53-year-old presenter was axed by the BBC after almost three decades on air when it was revealed that he had been investigated by police over allegations of “serious sexual offences” against a boy aged under 16 between 1997 and 2000.
The case was dropped in 2019 due to insufficient evidence – and even though the BBC had been aware of the investigation, they decided to act last month after learning that the boy at the centre of the case was under 16-years-old.
Last year Mills had pre-recorded an episode of Bake Off, staged in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, which had been due to air on April 18 but will now be kept on the shelf.
A C4 spokesperson confirmed: “Having carefully considered the circumstances, we’ve taken the decision not to air the final episode of the 2026 series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer, featuring Scott Mills.
“Acknowledging the seriousness of the accusations that have been made against Scott we don’t believe it would be appropriate to air the episode at this time.
“An alternative episode of Celebrity GBBO will go out in its place.”
The episode had also been due to feature Rag’n’Bone Man, Edith Bowman and Aston Merrygold.
